About Michell Lazov

Michell Lazov is a member of the Downtown Artist Co-op Gallery of Clarksville, Tennessee. She exhibits and sells paintings, primarily oils, signing her works, Michell w/o -E ( Michell without an E) due to the unusual spelling of her first name. She also exhibits at various locations in the surrounding communities. She is also a member of fineartamerica.com and redbubble.com. There is a window exhibit planned at the Downtown Artist co-op during the month of July 2018.
Michell w/o-E has always been an artist in some form or another since a young age. Whether, drawing in charcoal, painting with color, quilting wall art, making jewelry, she always found ways of being creative. As a mother of 4 she home schooled for many years. She exposed her children to numerous artistic activities including sculpting with clay, building and painting birdhouses, building miniature landscapes with paper-mâché and plaster of paris , jewelry making and sewing among others. In 2000, she started painting by designing and painting wall murals on her children’s bedroom walls in acrylic paints. This sparked a curiosity in her that she felt compelled to explore.
An Empty Nest enabled Michell to work as a full time artist. Currently Michell's media of choice is oil. Her favorite subjects are primarily landscapes of old significant structures but she dabbles with many different subjects. She also creates 3D artwork for a change of pace to exercise her creativity. She has numerous paintings for sale but also welcomes commissions.
